I don't think you need to be a vegetarian to appreciate Mahatma Gandhi's comment especially when you consider the filthy, disease ridden slaughterhouses that bring you McDonald's hamburgers, the packed tight as sardine tins poultry farms that bring you McDonald's chicken fingers and the tasteless, unhappy, pale yellow eggs that end up in our supermarkets.  And not to mention the illegal immigrants who are used as fodder for all of those dangerous, artificially low paying jobs slaughtering our hormone overloaded meat.
